Richardson nets as Sidmouth Warriors Under-9s pipped by Ottery St Mary

Ottery St Mary 2, Sidmouth Warriors 1 Sidmouth Warriors Under-9s were edged out by the Otters in a contest that was far from pretty!

A howling wind and sloping pitch aided the long-ball tactics deployed by the hosts.

The Warriors grabbed the lead with a well-taken goal from Stanley Richardson and went on to create a number of other good chances.

However, the Otters struck back with two well taken goals and, despite continuing to create further opportunities throughout the game, Warriors could not find a second goal and slipped to a narrow reversal.
