Sidmouth Town Under-10 Warriors launched a new season when they came up against a very impressive pair of CulmSampford sides.

First up Warriors played CS Cougars and started as if they were still in ‘close season’ mode and they were two down to some clinical finishing before they had even started top get their game together! To their credit they did eventually take a foothold in the game and Ben Fisher scored to halve the deficit. Boosted by the goal Warriors pushed forward, but that left them open at the back and they fell further behind before the interval. After the break the flow of the game was one-way and unfortunately, not towards the opposition goal!

Warriors goalkeeper Freddie Roberts was busy and made a number of stunning saved before eventually being beaten by two more as Warriors ended well beaten.

In their second game against CS Cubs the Warriors started with more fizz and Freddie Eul Barker found the net with a fine header. It then became a case of Warriors versus the impressive Cubs glovesman. The keeper won countless times, but was beaten twice by Oliver Loosemore as the warriors sealed a 3-0 win to end the morning with big smiles on their faces.
