Ottery St Mary 1, East Budleigh 1 Ottery St Mary put in a much improved performance against East Budleigh on Saturday and saw their three game losing streak come to a halt in a 1-1 draw that could have gone either way, writes Adam Harris.

The Otters found themselves 1-0 up after good work from Jordan Rogers who held off two defenders before setting up striker Adam Harris who found the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

East Budleigh responded well and found the net after Otters gloves man Barry Wood was rendered helpless by a clever looping header that nestled in the top corner of the net.

Both sides had chances to claim all three points with Hugh Cort and Tom Melia both going close for the home side.

A special mention must be reserved for Jordan Rogers, who played with a level of confidence and composure of a player far beyond his 16 years!

As a result of his contribution young Rogers was named the Otters Man of the Match.
