Flood aid offered to South West rugby clubs
PUBLISHED: 11:00 09 January 2014 | UPDATED: 11:00 09 January 2014
Rugby clubs in the South West affected by emergency situations like flooding can apply for short term emergency capital funding of up to £5,000 to help replace or repair affected facilities or equipment.
This emergency funding covers any unforeseen act which renders a club unable to operate or fulfil business commitments, situations resulting from the likes of flooding, wind damage, fire, theft or vandalism, which cause match postponement and financial hardship.
Clubs affected by an emergency situation should check with their Area Facility Manager to discover whether they can access this funding.
The relevant AFMs are: Jon Bendle (Cornwall, Somerset, Devon, Dorset & Wiltshire, Gloucestershire) at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 07753 881272 and Jason Bowers (Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire) at email@example.com or on 07703 466773.
