Sidmouth Rugby Club invite members and non-members to watch the Six Nations opening match between Wales and England (Friday, February 6), in the atmosphere of the clubhouse, writes Terry O’Brien.

There’s the opportunity to enjoy both the rugby and dine on a curry – all for just £5.00. The bar will open at 7pm with curry (£5.00) being served before the match kicks off at 8.05pm. To book your curry contact Terry O’Brien by Tuesday, February 3 on 07815 757057 or by email at terryobrien9896@btinternet.com.

As a curtain raiser to the Six Nations match on TV, there will be a tag rugby festival for primary schools on the Blackmore Field starting at 4.30pm.

This event will be a sampler of what will be on offer at the Rugby Club during the Rugby World Cup in September and October.
