Sidmouth Under-10s fielded a reduced, but perfectly formed team for their meeting with Honiton and, once again, took the honours with a superb all-round show.

Birthday boys, twins Charlie and Freddie Roberts, skippered the side and, with great performances all over the pitch, Sidmouth chalked up a combined 14-1 success across the two games, the first ending 9-0 and the second 5-1.

The team communication was excellent which contributed to outstanding defending across the board, with big tackles from Will Cockayne-Cottrell and Laurence Walker. Finlay Hobday, Louis Cornick, Ben Fisher and Oliver Bond all distributed the ball well from the breakdown. Honiton defended well, but Ryan Cozens bulldozed his way through to score six of the 14 tries over the two games.

Other scores came from Oliver Bond, Gabriel Roberts and Laurence Walker.

Ryan Cozens was named the Sidmouth Man of the Match award.
