Sidmouth Under-8s had sufficient numbers to field two strong teams for matches against some talented Exeter Chiefs teams.

In the first two games each side won a game, with Sidmouth losing 11-6 before winning 9-8.

Following a quick break, with varying amounts of snacks and drink, the teams swapped opponents and Sidmouth won one game 5-4 with the other ending in an entertaining 11-all draw!

That all left the day’s match outcome as being Sidmouth claiming two wins, Exeter Chiefs one and one game drawn.

On the day there were some great examples of determined tagging, notably Aidan Corefield, and tireless running, passing and individual skill along with good defence which saw Sam Smart named Player of the Week.

This weekend the Under-8s entertain Exmouth at Sidbury.
