Brixham 60 Sidmouth 7

Sidmouth second XV were unceremoniously defeated at the home of the Merit table leaders.

The hosts are an awesome side at their Astley Park home and the Sidmouth cause was not helped by the side being without replacements to help ease the burden of the players who gave their all despite carryi9ng injuries.

Steve Trim scored the Quins try, converted by Ben Pratt with what proved to be the last play of the match.

Tomorrow (March 17), Quins will hope to fare better, further up the Bay, taking on Torquay’s second string with the game kicking-off at 2pm.
