Archant

Barnstaple 73, Sidmouth Quins 14

After being 54-0 down at half time, Sidmouth’s highlight was a 60-metre dash from Luke Knight.

The second half was better. Rodger Goulding crashing his way over and a penalty try was scored, both converted by Adam Squance. Ben Salter, at full back, was the pick for Sidmouth. Chris Aplin made a gutsy debut for the Quins.

The Quins play away for the fourth week in row, at Newton Abbot tomorrow, looking for a win to help keep them in Merit Table 1.
