With perfect conditions Sid Valley Cycle Club were well represented for the weekly 10 mile time trial on the Budlake course.

Eight Sid Valley riders met at the race head quarters at The Crossways Tavern at Hele.

Start times and race numbers were handed out and the riders headed for the start.

Things didn’t start off very well!

Sid Valley chairman Ron Clint suffered a very rare mechanical failure at the start with a broken chain and first time triallist Josh Brown missed his start time at would have to start last. From there things got a lot better and some very good times were set , Josh went on to post a very good time of 25.05. Another first timer on the evening was Jack Salvidge who set a great time of 26.36. Other riders included Sam Turner ( a personnel best of 24.55), Nigel Winchester 25.36, Dominick Horrell 27.50, John Cooper 26.02 and Chris Critchlow 28.27.
