A half century from Harvey Sargent and a three wicket haul by Fionn Wardrop helped Sidmouth 2nds to power their way towards yet another trophy thanks to a 30-run win at Plymouth.
Opener Sargent hit 68 whilst their were useful supporting knocks from Henry Gater (32), Nick Mansfield (31) and Isaac Thomas (27) as Sidmouth closed on 211-8 from their 45 overs.
The home reply was hit by the loss of an opener without troubling the scorers thanks to a caught and bowled from Will Gater.
Wickets were taken at regular intervals until a sixth wicket rally, but once the middle order pair were returned to the pavilion it was a case of how long it would take to mop things up.
Wardrop finished with three wickets for 26 runs from nine overs and there were two wicket hauls for Charlie Dibble (2-28 in nine), Will Gater (2-45 in nine) and Saj Patidar (2-6 in one over) with Toby Seldon picking up the other home wicket to fall as Plymouth were bowled out for 181.
