Sidmouth Sailing Club recently staged the hugely popular Scorpion Open and, once again, it was a fabulous weekend on the water.
The Scorpion is a lightweight, high performance, two-person, hiking racing dinghy. Its adjustable rig enables sailing in all weathers for crews of all weights, ages and experiences.
The competition is spread across six races and the winners with a dominant display of five victories and one second place were the team of Tom Gillard and Rachel Rhodes. Peter Gray and Rich Pepperdine took overall second and in third were Matt Burge and Bob Gardner.
It was a brilliant weekend of racing and, as you can see from these fantastic images from Sidmouth Sailing Club, the weather was generally kind and the views as spectacular as always.
