Under bright blue skies, Seaton Tennis Club members were back on court this week and the six courts were all busy, with everyone enthusiastically making up for lost time.
Club Chairman Simon Prior said: “It’s great to see the courts back in use again and we’re looking forward to a busy summer of social and league tennis, all socially distanced, of course!”
The club welcomes visitors and new members of all standards and for those who are a bit hesitant, there’s always Rusty Racquets and Adult Beginners on Saturdays from 2.00 – 5.00. You don’t have to be a member and we can lend you a racquet if need be. Just turn up with suitable shoes and give it a go in a very relaxed atmosphere for the princely sum of £3.
The club also welcomes juniors – Head Coach Dave Taylor and his team are running Easter Camps on Tuesday and Thursday mornings during the school holidays and a regular weekly coaching programme will resume after that - davetaylortennis@yahoo.com
