Sid and Otter Valley Riding Club juniors were well represented at the Area 12 Horse Trials at Pontispool Farm.
Sid and Otter Valley Riding Club juniors were well represented at the Area 12 Horse Trials at Pontispool Farm, Taunton at the weekend. Two junior teams of four riders were split over four sections, with the team of Alice Perrott on In the Pipeline, Georgie Trivett on Leam Bog Oak and the Carter sisters, Imogen riding Corryview Megan and Yasmin riding Kirby coming a close second to Lamberts Castle Riding Club.The team of Cameron Beer, Laura Shillam, Lauren Reed and Caitlin Astley-Jones came a creditable fourth place overall. Georgie and Yasmin now go forward to the Area Championships to be held at Offchurch, Warwickshire in August after both finished in second place in their respective sections, the winners having already qualified. Alice was also second individually but the winner in her section had not qualified. Cameron finished third and Lauren fifth in their sections.
