The girls quartet of Aimee Keast, Eve Badcock, Connie Harris and Issy Beech were just touched off into second place in a thrilling finish to the 4 x 50m freestyle and secured a third place finish in the 4 x 50m Individual Medley with Hannah Beglin, Eve Badcock, Aimee Keast and Flora Hastie.

The girls 14 and under breaststroke team comprising Rachel Cavin, Flora Hastie, Hannah Rudgard and Vicky Wyant also achieved a second place finish on the night.

Overall winners on the night were local rivals Exmouth, who finished just ahead of Dawlish and Newton Abbot, with Sid Vale Sharks fifth..

Team manager on the night Patrick Domhof commended all the swimmers, who showed a good team spirit with most swimming a number of personal best times.

Well done to all those who took part and hopefully we can look forward to challenging Exmouth for top honours in the future.

We now have a number of places available to swimmers to join the club. If you can swim four lengths unaided or are working towards achieving ASA stage 7 in swimming and would like a trial then please email admin@sidvale.co.uk or come to Sidmouth pool on Friday evenings just before 7pm.
