Sidbury United’s march towards bringing Fresha League Premier Division football to Byes Lane continued on Saturday with a 3-1 success in Mid Devon.

United were 3-1 winners at Cullompton Rangers with goals from Adam Connett, Ash Small and Russ Coombes.

With Witheridge dropping two points in a 1-1 draw at champions-elect Elmore Reserves, it leaves United sitting second in Division One with 50 points from 22 games.

They play the first of their final six games on Saturday when they go to Elmore where a win would take United level with the Tiverton side who would have two games in hand.

Otterton were not in Fresha action last weekend, with Uplowman winning it means the Otters are now four points shy of the Mid Devon side at the top of the Division Six table, but they do have two games in hand.

On Saturday they travel to Honiton Town Reserves.
