Sidford sit top of Afternoon Division Two in the East Devon Short Mat Bowls League

The second half of the East Devon Short Mat Bowls League is underway, writes Caroline Pavey.

The opening week of saw Sidbury A triumph at home and both Colyton and Beer win away in Evening Division One encounters.

Evening Division two saw home a win for Upottery and an away victory for Awliscombe B.

Afternoon Division One saw home wins for St Teresa, Beer, Lyme Regis, Seaton Cliff A and B.

Chard B had a home and away win, Hemyock B and Seaton Cliff D also had home wins in the Afternoon Division Two.
