Sidford Tennis Club raised the superb sum of £220.60p when they held a Tennis Tournament in aid of Macmillan, writes Jacqui Warrender.

The tennis club put on a splendid lunch and cream tea and hosted visiting players from Sidmouth, Ashburton, Torquay and Exeter.

Some terrific tennis was played in great spirits and the whole day was played out in glorious sunshine.

Well done, to everyone who took part, and thank you, to those who came along to support this great cause.

The eventual winners were Emma Fidge and Phil Plummer, with Barbara Robillard and Anna Kellagher the runners-up.
