Sidford Ladies A and Men's teams have enjoyed success in their recent local derby matches against Sidmouth and Exmouth A respectively. The Ladies' A team completed the double over Sidmouth with an emphatic 8-0 victory; Jane Chalk and Jane Wakley continued their excellent form to win both their matches and there was a fine performance from the team captain, Marilyn Barlow, who won all her games with reserve Emma Fidge. This result moves the team up to second in the league with two games in hand on leaders Exeter Golf & Country Club C.Paul Carter with Graham Baker led the men's team to a hard fought victory over Exmouth A. With the match delicately poised at 5-5, they won a championship tie break against Exmouth's number one pair to remain unbeaten and clinch a 6 - 5 win for the team.
