Sidmouth A squad continue to prosper in the Exeter and District Over-60s Triples league, writes Ron Cook.
They banked another full house of eight points after a visit to Hemyock and that result left them topping the Division One table for the fifth week in a row.
The Sidmouth B squad managed to pick up two points in their match against Belmont, but the C squad found the going tough against Budleigh Salterton and, after playing well across the first 12 ends, fell away to lose on both rinks.
There was just the one friendly played last week and that was a home meeting with Dunkeswell.
The visitors found the change from artificial surface to grass hard to adjust to as Sidmouth secured success on all four rinks by substantial margins with an overall score of 105 to 48.
