Sidmouth A are now the only team in the Sidmouth Leisure Centre Indoor League with an unbeaten record after they inflicted a first defeat on previously unbeaten Ottery St Mary.

The Otters were restricted to 66, past in comfort by the table-toppers.

Clyst Hydon A, who crashed out of the County Cup recently in Plymouth, are second after they defeated Yarcombe and Stockland.

Sidmouth B are third after they bagged a big win over Newton Poppleford. Sidmouth scored the second highest team score of the season, racking up 151 for the second time and then restricted the Popples to 111.

Tipton suffered a fourth straight defeat, beaten comfortably by Clyst Hydon B and, the other game played in the latest round of action saw Budleigh score 131 to defeat Clyst St George (77).

The highest total this season is the 191 plundered by Sidmouth A in their Janaury 22 meeting with Budleigh Salterton.
