Sidmouth A racked up another big score as they continue to defeat all that come before them in the Sidmouth Leisure Centre Indoor Cricket League.

The latest Sidmouth success saw them power their way to a score of 155 with Tipton St John then being restricted to 91 to give the table toppers a 64 run success.

Sidmouth lead the table by three points while Tipton continue to share the bottom spot with Newton Poppleford with both teams yet to register their first points of the season.

Clyst Hydon A were just as emphatic in their demolition of Newton Poppleford. Clyst slammed their top score of the season, 154, and then restricted the Popples to 74.

With four wins from five – their only defeat coming against Sidmouth, sees Clyst sitting second three points shy of the leaders.

Sidmouth B also have 12 points and they were 39 run winners over Clyst Hydon B. Batting first, Sidmouth scored 106 with Clyst then scoring the lowest total of match day five – 67.Yarcombe bagged a third win and consigned Budleigh to a third defeat in their meeting.

Yarcombe batted first and scored 129, Budleigh’s reply ended on 113. The other match saw a thrilling game between Ottery St Mary and Clyst St George. The closest contest of the day saw Clyst St George score 106 against the 102 from the Otters.
