Round six of the Sidmouth Leisure Centre Indoor Cricket League saw a full programme of fixtures played.

Sidmouth A remain three points clear at the top of the table after they made it six wins from six matches with a comprehensive 42 run win over Clyst Hydon B – that a fourth defeat for the villagers who have slipped to seventh in the table as a result of their latest loss.

Sidmouth B are second in the table and they made it five wins from six – their only defeat being at the hands of the table-toppers – and in some style too as they defeated the team who had started the day with the same record as them. Clyst Hydon A were restricted to 70 in their innings and that was no problem for Sidmouth B.

Yarcombe and Stockland are in a bit of form and they made it four wins from six with a comprehensive success against Ottery St Mary, scoring 94 before restricting the Otters to 67.

Clyst St George were involved in the days game that produced the most runs – 244 in total as their offering of 128 proved too much for Tipton St John who replied with 116.

The other match played saw two of the bottom three meet with Newton Poppleford (91), getting then better of Budleigh Salterton (90).
