Sidmouth B team opened their 2014 campaign with a convincing win over neighbours Axe Cliff last Saturday, writes Chris Roberts.
There were wins for team captain Steve Milton and Laurie Quinn, Roger Freer and Bob Skelly, Chris Grubb and Pete Northcott, and Lee Wenham and Donald Copper.
Nick Bater and Wobbly Bob Welsman halved their match, whilst Jim Anderton and Brian L’Escargot lost.
The team play again this week at home to Honiton, lets hope that East Devon Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic have worked their magic!
