Sidmouth Badminton club juniors (11-15s) have broken up for the summer but coaching sessions start again in the Autumn. Younger players continue until the end of the school term in July, meeting each Thursday night for coaching with Harry Humphries and Mark Gillard. Award winners this season were: Player of the Year - male Rob Walkden, female Steph Bacon; Tournament Player of the Year - Harry Williams; Most Sporting Player of the Year - Hannah Domhof and Ben Powell; Most Improved Player: Rufus Baker-Morris. Harry Williams also won the annual singles tournament which preceded the awards. Anyone interested in joining the clubs should contact Sidmouth Sports Centre (01395) 577678.
