Sidmouth remain top of the Sidmouth Leisure Centre Indoor Cricket League after claiming a fifth straight success in the latest round of matches.

They reduced opponents Clyst Hydon B to 109 and eased to a winning total of 111.

Clyst Hydon A are clear second after they sealed a fourth win in five outings with a comfortable victory over Tipton St John who they bundled out for just 66 after batting first and scoring their highest total of the campaign so far, 149.

The third and final game in the latest round of matches saw Newton Poppleford bag a second win of their campaign while inflicting a fourth loss in five outings for Ottery St Mary. The Otters scored 107, passed with some ease by the Popples who scored 109.
