Sidmouth Blues have been out of luck in their latest Over-50s League matches, writes Carol Smith.
A visit to Ottery St Mary resulted in both rinks being beaten before, at home to Honiton, they again went down on both rinks, though on one of them, the margin of defeat was a single shot.
Nevertheless, no points banked from two matches and so it’s now a case of ‘so must try harder’!
There was better news for the Sidmouth Yellows as they won their home meeting with Ottery St Mary, enjoying success on both rinks and therefore banking the maximum six points.
The top Blues’ rink was the one of Karen Holingdale, Anita Mason and skip Lynda Dommett, who won 19-9. Well done, ladies.
