This coming Sunday (August 19), Sidmouth Bowls Club is holding an Open Day, writes Carol Smith.
The aim of the event is to hopefully recruit some new members.
The day gets under way from 10.30am and runs through until 1pm.
If you think you may be interested, why not come along and meet the team.
They will give you all the information about our club and this great game of bowls.
They will even give you a free taster session on the indoor green.
The club is not just about bowling.
We also have a thriving social section with a hard-working entertainments committee that arranges social events throughout the year during both the outdoor and indoor bowling seasons.
? Bowls is a terrific sport that can be enjoyed by men, women, boys and girls. The club at Sidmouth is renowened for the warm welcome it affords new folk so why not get along and see what pleasure you can, and will, get by joining the club.
