When Ottery St Mary bowlers visited Sidmouth for a friendly match, it was a chance for the home side to turn around some patchy form through the indoor season.
This was different, with Sidmouth winning on all three rinks! The top rink was Brian Deam, Chris Radburn, Captain Phil Meadows and skip Don Smith with an excellent margin of 22 - 12. The overall score was Sidmouth 62 Ottery 33.
Sidmouth ladies also played another round of the Foxlands Devon County League against Isca B, with two rinks home and two away. Unfortunately, both away teams lost as did one home team. Isca is a large Exeter Club with eight indoor rinks, which draws players from a large area to play indoor all year.
However, our winning rink of Jean Brimson, Ann Capon, Brenda Somerfield and skip Jill Bishop enjoyed a great win of 24 –13.
