Despite squally showers and a biting breeze, 34 of Sidmouth Bowls Club’s stalwart members gathered at 5.30pm to play in the first of this season’s Sunset Umbrella games on Monday, writes Susie Bonnell.
We were all slightly more blue around the gills by the time we finished, but it was a great gathering and the greens rang with laughter.
It was lovely to see new and old members alike having such a good time.
