OK - it’s all over now for Sidmouth outdoor bowlers - or at least for those of us who did not go on the Spanish Bowls Tour, writes Susie Bonnell.
However, for those intrepid travellers who took the early morning flight from Exeter at 3am on Monday, the sun has been shining down on them, their bowls and the odd glass of sangria around the pool!
We are receiving daily reports of their antics, together with some interesting photographs!
Seeing such happy smiley faces makes those of us left here wondering if we should have joined them - until the first report came in of their great defeat at Javea Bowling Club.
Still, as they were welcomed with open arms and a very nice lunch, plus playing in glorious sunshine, it looks as though a great time was had by all.
