Sidmouth bowlers were privileged to have a talk and demonstration on CPR techniques in their clubhouse on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, writes Susie Bonnell.
Barry Thomas from the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital came along to the club to give a talk and show the members just what is required in the event of someone requiring CPR.
Of course, it’s something we all hope never to have to use, but the well-attended talk gave everyone the confidence and knowledge needed to deal with a suspected heart attack should it happen.
So, it’s many thanks again to Barry for his excellent tuition and for donating his fee to the club’s chosen charity fund.
