Sidmouth Bowling Club staged another most successful Open Day at the club, writes Susie Bonnell.
With balloons and bunting waving in the sunny balmy winds, the doors opened to the eager people looking forward to trying their hand at the sport of bowls.
Sidmouth Bowling Club are privileged to be located in such a beautiful spot and to have three indoor rinks. A busy afternoon was spent in helping the would-be bowlers try out the indoor rinks, providing all the equipment needed.
All in all, the day was a high success, all thanks to the terrific organisation of Rosemary Brown and all the club members who helped and supported the Open Day.
