Sidmouth Bowling Club have had another successful Open Day, writes Susie Bonnell.
It all took place last Sunday (April 3) with the club opening their doors to anyone interested in trying their hand at bowls, on the club’s three indoor rinks.
With an offer of a free ‘taster’ session and four further free coaching sessions, there was nothing to lose for the people who came along. Of course, the club welcomes anyone interested in having a go at bowls at any time of the year, but with the 2016 outdoor season about to start on April 23, this was a good opportunity to be ready to play from the very beginning.
If you missed the Open Day then do not worry - just call into the club on Coburg Terrace or phone David Hughes, our club secretary, on 01395 567922. You will receive a very warm welcome.
