Sidmouth Chiefs get cup tie walkover after student ‘no show’

The Sidmouth 1st Team were given a walkover to the quarter-finals of the Devon Senior Cup by Exeter University, who could not raise a team, writes Terry O’Brien.

The Chiefs will now play Bideford at home on Saturday, March 18 in the last eight of then competition.

This Saturday (March 4), Chiefs entertain Exeter University in a league match. The kick off is at 3pm.

With the students at the top of the league and favourites for promotion, they are expected to turn up on this occasion!

The Quins and Colts both travel to Brixham.
