Sidmouth sit clear top of the Sidmouth Leisure Centre Indoor Cricket League after a big win over the only other side to sport a 100 per cent record this season, Clyst Hydon A.

Batting first, Sidmouth powered to an imposing score of 152-3 with Robbie Powell hitting an unbeaten 37, while there were supporting knocks from Anthony Griffiths (28), Louis Adey (26) and Charlie Miles (22). Clyst Hydon were then bundled out for just 54 with Scott Barlow (2-9) and Jordan Fowler (2-16) the principle wicket takers.

In the day’s other two matches that were played, Newton Poppleford scored 126 to defeat Tipton St John (65) and Clyst Hydon B defeated Yarcombe and Stockland.
