Sidmouth college pupils Lillian Caldwell and Leah Hawkins have recently been in action with the Devon Under-14 hockey team.
The duo did their school and county proud at the junior regional trials which were held at Kings school Taunton last weekend.
Devon played matches against Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset.
Coach Gus McVey who coaches the Devon team said: “Both Lillian and Leah delivered the goods with some excellent play. Sidmouth College is lucky to have two such talented hockey players and should be very proud of the way they played and conducted themselves.”
