Sidmouth College Under-16 girls took part in the final round of the East Devon Netball League.
First up the girls’ were involved in a game of high standard against a very good King’s School team who they defeated 15-11.
Next, the girls faced Honiton, knowing that if they won this match, they would be overall winners. At the end of the first half, confidence was high with a score of 8-2 to Sidmouth. Remaining focused, the Sidmouth girls displayed their talent and perseverance to extend their lead and finish winners with a score of 18-10.
This was a fantastic and well-deserved victory for the team and an especially amazing feat given that five of the squad are only in Year 10!
