Sidmouth Cricket Club are always on the look out for new scorers and umpires and the Devon Cricket League (DACO) is setting up stage one and stage two umpiring courses in the spring.

Stage one umpire training is to be held at the Exeter Court Motel in two half-day sessions on January 19 and again on January 26, 2019 from 9.15am through to 12.20pm. There is a £30 fee for the course which Sidmouth CC will happily reimburse the individual or individuals who attend with a view to becoming umpires for the club.

Stage two umpire training will be held at the same venue, again in two half-day sessions on February 16 and 23 from 9.15am through to 12.30pm and again, the £30 course for will be reimbursed by the club.

Completion of stage two allows those who complete the course to be eligible as a Panel Umpire if they wish to do so. It is recommended that where possible that folk do stage one and then stage two, as this combination will be of most benefit. For those registering for Stage 1 and 2 there is a discounted price of £40 for both.
