Sidmouth Cricket Club are looking for anyone interested in becoming an umpire or scorer for the club we have many midweek games that need filling for both umpiring and scoring and the occasional Saturday/Sunday fixture, writes Anthony Griffiths.
We have set aside a budget to support anyone willing to do the course which is being run by the DACO. Details of course content, together with those courses that are planned, can be found at http://www.devoncricket.co.uk/page.php?Id=232.
In particular, DACO have arranged a level One Umpires course to be run at Bovey Tracey Cricket Club on November 20 and 27.
Both days to commence at 9.30am and complete by 5pm. More dates maybe available depending on the take up from around Devon.
Closing date for applications is November 9.
