Sidmouth travelled to Exminster to play Bovey Tracey in the latest round of East Devon League matches, writes Hugh Dorliac.

The contest was played out in very hot conditions and the course played its part in the overall result with the ball bouncing off a bone dry surface.

Sidmouth also found they were giving plenty of shots to their Bovey opponents on the day which made for a tough challenge.

The five pairs ended with two defeats and two draws with just the one Sidmouth success, that being the final pairing of Moray Bosence and Alex Duckworth.

This all left the final match score being 3-2 in favour of the home side.
