Particularly this year during the celebrations of the 125th anniversary of the formation of the club, have donated the funds to build
an attractive stone bridge across the ditch on the thirteenth fairway, to leave as a legacy to the club.
The current seniors captain Nigel Sharp commented on the terrific fellowship amongst the senior members of the club and the ability of a few members to play golf well into their eighties.
Members become eligible to join the seniors section at the age of 60, so if there are any newcomers to Sidmouth who play golf and enjoy good company and friendly banter among a group of friends who would like to stay fit, come and join us.
