Sidmouth member Paul Blay played in the Seniors Individual Open Golf competition held at Wrangton Golf Club and constructed a solid round winning the visitors prize, writes Chris Grubb.
Although only his second time at Wrangton and despite the misty conditions on the front nine he attacked the fascinating moorland holes without fear.
The back nine is completely different to the first nine holes being lush parkland.
However, again he continued to play well and ended up with the winning score for the visitors.
