Thirty-two ladies’ played in the Wednesday Coronation Foursomes, writes Penny Ashby.
The competition was contested in glorious weather with the winners going forward later in the summer to the next round to be played in Dorset.
Judy Ritz and Dorthe Fowler were the Sidmouth winners, with 33 stableford points.
Maria Clapp and Angie Coles came second, with their round including a superb hole-in-one by Angie on the sixth!
Julie Lye and Marie Timms took third place.
