The Servicemaster Devon T20 Cup – previously known as the Devon Senior Cup, begins this Sunday (June 4).

Sidmouth are in action when they go to Bradninch where A Division side Ivybridge will also be in action in a three-team group day of crash, bang and wallop cricket.

The Fortfield men travel to Mid Devon without their Devon contingent which is far from ideal.

However, Sidmouth do enjoy strength in depth – they have the best 2nd XI in the Tolchards Devon League – and no doubt will prove to be competitive at Kensham Park, Bradninch on Sunday.

There are three games scheduled with Bradninch taking on Ivybridge at 10.30am. Sidmouth will play the team that loses that first game (1.30pm) and the winner of the second semi-final will contest the ‘final’ which is scheduled to start at 5.30pm.

Sidmouth are also in Premier League action on Saturday with Torquay the visitors to the Fortfield (12.30pm).
