Kevin Howe emerged victorious by the smallest of margins in the latest Sidmouth Jewellers Friday stableford meeting, writes Chris Roberts.
With the sun shinning three players scored 37 points and it was Howe who took the honours thanks to his 22 over the back nine.
George ‘beauty sleep’ Barber was placed second whilst Stuart Coles had to settle for third.
In fourth and fifth spots, two shots further back with 35 points each were James Spiller and competition sponsor Geoff Lory with the former edging the latter out on countback.
