The winner of the Sidmouth Jewellers Stableford this week was Andy Pryke with an impressive 40 points, writes Hugh Dorliac
It all means that next time out Andy will be playing off a handicap of nine. Last year’s club captain, Richard Powell, was second on 38 with Len Wright on 36 in third.
The Uppercrust Monday Stableford saw Graham Rogers burning up the course with an excellent 44 points. It took his handicap down two strokes to single figures and he will now play off nine which will be tough to play off through the winter! Steve Crabb took second place on 41, having had to go back to the tee on 18 after putting his first ball out of bounds. His second drive found the green and he was able to sink it for a par. Len Wright bagged another third place with 39 and a one stroke deduction off his handicap.
