Last Friday saw the annual match for the Millennium Plate donated in 2000 by David and Dee Bridgewater.
This is a competition played between the ladies and the senior gentleman.
The weather improved as the day progressed and the course was in excellent condition.
The match was played in great spirit and some of the matches went to the 18th (in true Ryder Cup fashion) Mavis Vanstone and Susan Hackett beating their opponents Peter Emery and Paul Blay with their final putt. What excitement!
The ladies won the match and Nigel Sharp presented the Millennium Plate to Liz Chance at the end of a very enjoyable day.
