As always, it is a pleasure to play a friendly game of bowls against our neighbours, Budleigh, writes Susie Bonnell.
To that end, the meeting of the ladies from the respective clubs was no exception.
The weather was good, the bowling and the company was great.
Sidmouth ladies sent three teams of triples for a 2pm start at Budleigh - and a super afternoon whiled away three hours of the sunny afternoon.
On this occasion Sidmouth ladies despite losing on two rinks, were delighted to come away winning overall with a total score of 50-47 - the winning team comprising of Elaine Reed, Anita Mason and Susie Bonnell.
