Sidmouth ladies’ Over-50s Blue team have been crowned Exeter and District Over-50s League Division One champions, writes Susie Bonnell.
There was something of a nervous wait for the Blues to await their fate!
That’s because any title success they would enjoy depended on the outcome of the final Seaton match.
Their rivals could only take four of the six points they required to draw level with the Blues and so the Sidmouth ladies were able to celebrate!
Congratulations to all involved with the team.
